Talent Acquisition Manager

Title Talent Acquisition Manager Location Bronx, NY 10457 Job Type & Schedule Full‑time, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, day shift Education & Experience 4‑Year Degree; Minimum two years of administrative experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or benefits. Salary $70,000 – $75,000 per year. Travel: up to 25%. Essential Job Functions Recruitment Serve as the primary recruiter for all agency positions, including interns across Brooklyn and the Bronx. Build and maintain relationships with department managers to assess workforce needs and implement equitable hiring practices. Manage the full requisition process, ensuring accurate submission, approval, and updating of positions. Partner with the HR Director to post positions internally and externally, screen resumes, and proactively source candidates. Conduct preliminary interviews and maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Collaborate with hiring managers and the HR Director to evaluate candidates and support final hiring decisions. Maintain accurate recruitment tracking tools and reports, including vacancy reports, applicant logs, and intern tracking. Develop and sustain partnerships with colleges, universities, and workforce organizations to support the internship program. Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community recruiting initiatives to attract diverse talent. Onboarding Execute the Offer of Employment process, including verbal offers, offer letters, reference checks, and background screenings. Coordinate onboarding for all new hires and interns, ensuring a consistent, welcoming, and compliant experience. Prepare and maintain new hire packets and verify all forms and compliance documents. Create and maintain employee personnel files in accordance with record‑keeping standards. Coordinate with IT to issue email addresses, Office 365 accounts, and equipment. Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, including room setup, materials, and meals. Enter and process new hire information in Paycom HRIS and route for payroll review. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA) Research emerging DEIA trends, best practices, and legal considerations. Support the development and implementation of an equity framework aligned with the organization’s mission. Implement inclusive recruitment and retention strategies to attract a diverse workforce. Partner with leadership to execute targeted diversity recruitment initiatives. Support training efforts for hiring managers and HR staff on inclusive hiring and retention practices. Learning & Development Facilitate and track completion of all required new hire and mandatory trainings. Assess organizational training needs and collaborate with the HR Director to implement development initiatives. Assist in planning and coordinating agency‑wide professional development programs. Track and manage annual training requirements and completion records. Team Member Satisfaction & Retention Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention. Support the creation and facilitation of employee recognition programs. Assist in developing and administering employee surveys to assess engagement, satisfaction, and culture. Promote an open‑door culture encouraging communication and collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of administrative experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or benefits. Proven ability to independently manage multiple administrative tasks and follow workflow priorities. Experience addressing customer service requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Competency in Microsoft Office applications and capacity to use automated human resource database systems. Ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements. Passion for HR and Talent Acquisition methods. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $70,000 – $75,000 per annum.
