The Divisional Director at Behavioral Health Services (BHS) manages administrative, operational, and clinical functions, ensuring strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource utilization. This role involves monitoring facility operations with the COO, overseeing contracts, aiding the CFO with budgets, and managing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Provides direction for the division, ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Monitors facility operations and physical properties, initiating changes to maintain compliance, and reporting issues to the Chief Compliance Officer.
- Financial & Resource Management: Works with the CFO to prepare budgets, allocate funds based on cost studies, and manage departmental expenses.
- Human Resources: Manages staff, including hiring, evaluating performance, and overseeing training and development.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partners with BHS Corporate and Program Development staff to advance organizational goals.
Requirements
- Education: Typically requires a master's degree in business or healthcare administration, with 7 years of progressive administrative and leadership experience in service delivery.
- Skills: Strong communication, budgetary, and computer skills are essential, along with the ability to lead and manage in a compliant manner.
