Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale Fence Sales (B2B)

Fence Direct is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our wholesale customer base throughout Florida.

This is a business development role for a self-driven sales professional who knows how to generate opportunities, build relationships, and create long-term customer partnerships. We are looking for someone who can independently develop new accounts and expand our presence in the contractor and construction industries.

This is not a traditional sales role where leads are handed to you. The ideal candidate already has a proven system for prospecting, outreach, and follow-up. You should be comfortable creating your own opportunities and managing your territory independently.

You will spend most of your time on the road meeting with contractors, builders, fence companies, landscapers, and other industry professionals. When needed, you will work from our Orlando office assisting with inside sales, customer relationships, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new wholesale customers through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person visits. 
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and business owners. 
• Create and execute your own territory growth strategy. 
• Manage your sales pipeline and follow-up process using a CRM or personal sales system. 
• Generate quotes, negotiate opportunities, and close sales. 
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts. 
• Maintain consistent communication with customers to increase repeat purchases and customer loyalty. 
• Travel throughout Florida to meet with potential and existing customers. 
• Collaborate with the office and operations teams to provide an excellent customer experience. 
• Support inside sales activities from our Orlando office when needed. 

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded sales professional who takes ownership of their success. The right person is organized, disciplined, and comfortable working independently without daily supervision.

You should have a strong understanding of sales, marketing, and relationship building, with the ability to create demand and bring in new customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience. 
• Experience in fence sales, construction sales, building materials, landscaping, roofing, lumber, or similar industries preferred. 
• Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, and acquire new customers. 
• Fluent in English and Spanish. 
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and organization skills. 
• Comfortable spending most of the workweek traveling. 
• Experience using a CRM or sales tracking system. 
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida.
