Fence Direct is one of Florida's leading fence companies, serving residential, commercial, and wholesale customers throughout the state. We generate the leads and book the appointments. We need someone who turns them into signed jobs — and stays with the customer through installation.

No cold calling. No buying your own leads. No door knocking. Every appointment on your calendar was booked for you.

What You'll Do

Run appointments professionally — Show up on time, in uniform, with the materials we provide. Represent the brand well. Keep the Sales Coordinator informed of changes, cancellations, and no-shows.

Quote on the spot — Present an accurate estimate at every appointment. No "I'll get back to you." Complete the paper estimate and enter matching numbers into Housecall Pro the same day. Know our products cold — types, styles, grades — well enough to guide the customer and upsell where it genuinely fits. Flag pricing problems to management instead of quoting off bad numbers.

Follow up until it closes — Work every open estimate using HCP tasks. Nothing goes cold without documented outreach. Reach out proactively; don't wait for the customer to chase you. Re-engage stalled estimates with a specific reason to move forward.

Keep the pipeline clean — Update HCP the same day, every day. No appointment left unlogged. Keep the pipeline accurate enough that leadership has visibility without asking. Every open estimate has an active task with a due date.

Process the job correctly — Collect deposits (Clover, check, or cash). Convert signed estimates to jobs in HCP with all required information. Upload documentation so the Sales Coordinator isn't chasing you for missing pieces.

Own the job through installation — Stay reachable from signed estimate through completed install. When the Project Coordinator or customer raises an issue, respond promptly and coordinate the fix. If it traces back to what you sold or promised, own that conversation rather than handing the customer to operations.

This role does not end at the signature. You are accountable for what you sell, not just for closing it. If you're used to handing off after the close and moving on, this won't be a fit. If you want a reputation for being there start to finish — and the referrals that come with it — you'll do well here.

How Success Is Measured

Monthly quota met or exceeded. HCP updated same day after every appointment (100%). Every open estimate carries a current follow-up task. Job files submitted clean (98%+). Paper and HCP estimates match exactly (100%). Same-day response to customer and Project Coordinator issues (95%+).

What We're Looking For

Required

• Fluent in English and Spanish. Many of our appointments are with Spanish-speaking homeowners. You'll present quotes, explain options, handle objections, and write follow-ups in both languages.
• 2+ years in outside sales, in-home sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role
• Comfortable quoting and closing in the home, on the spot
• Strong follow-up discipline — you actually work your pipeline
• Valid Florida driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
• Comfortable using a CRM daily

Preferred: fencing, roofing, or home improvement sales background; Housecall Pro; residential measurement and takeoff.

Compensation

Base salary plus uncapped commission, paid biweekly. Realistic first-year earnings of $70,000–$110,000, with top performers earning more. Individual monthly quota agreed at hire. We provide the leads, the appointments, and the materials — your income depends on what you do with them.
