Addiction Counselor (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD)

Job Description Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor Location: Frederick Institute, Frederick, Maryland Certifications Required: ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD Frederick Institute is an Opioid Treatment Program seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Counselor to join our team. Our clinic is committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a critical role in helping our patients achieve long-term recovery and wellness. Responsibilities: Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Qualifications: Certification as an ADT, CAC-AD, or CSC-AD Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Benefits: Retirement Matching Paid Time Off package Health Insurance Paid Holidays Early Closure in the Summer Tuition Reimbursement Hours of Operation: 5:15am-1:30pm Monday through Friday New Journey is an equal opportunity employer.
