IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS)

Job Title

Serves as an IT Specialist in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Information Operations J622 Program Executive Office (PEO), J62X Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Platform, specifically in the Distribution Standard System (DSS)/ Warehouse Management System (WMS) Portfolio (J62XD).

Supports the WMS Data Team delivering and sustaining WMS (Extended Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, ERP Central Component, S/4, etc) across the DLA Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) (Disposition Services, Distribution, etc).

Evaluates and analyzes the customer's business system requirements feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, computability and testability.

Assists in the evaluation, selection, and integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and/or Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solutions.

Manages ServiceNow (SNOW) application incidents pertaining to warehouse related functionality and processes to include STOW, Inventory, Receiving, Kitting, MRO, COSIS, Etc.

Assists senior analysts in evaluating business system requirements, participating in "gap analysis" sessions and supporting the testing and validation of software modifications to gain foundational knowledge of the WMS software development lifecycle.

Identifies and defines system interface requirements for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, integrity, completeness, compliance, compatibility, and testability.

Tests and validates that all software modifications meet system specifications and fulfill the approved business system requirements.

Researches and investigates new technological developments to improve the design, documentation, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software.

The incumbent must have a clear understanding of applicable audit readiness end-to-end processes within a process management functional area - to include manual and system processes and their associated internal controls.
