Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade in an engaging academic environment near Litchfield Park, AZ. This full-time position spans the school year from August 3rd to May 21st, with the benefit of a four-day work week (Monday through Thursday), totaling 32 hours weekly. You’ll manage a diverse caseload of 60-70 students, providing essential speech-language therapy services in consultation, group, and self-contained settings across multiple age groups and cross-categorical needs.
Key qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (active, in good standing)
- Arizona Department of Education certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong clinical CF applicants are welcome
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to K-8 students within the school setting
- Conduct consultations and facilitate group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, faculty, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Document progress, assessments, and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
- Adapt interventions to accommodate various abilities, including self-contained and cross-categorical populations
