Description Business Office Manager – Skilled Nursing Facility Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations within the business office, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable management Manage and coordinate admissions processes, ensuring timely and accurate documentation Handle various payor sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and other third-party payors Perform reconciliation of accounts and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to facilitate smooth admission and discharge procedures Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to billing and financial practices Prepare financial reports and analyze data to support operational decision-making Supervise and train business office staff, fostering a team-oriented environment Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a business office or financial management role within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of payor sources, billing, and reimbursement processes Excellent reconciliation and accounting skills Ability to manage high volumes of admissions and financial transactions efficiently Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency in healthcare billing software and Microsoft Office Suite Our organization offers a collaborative and supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to our residents. BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred. Licenses/Certification: Valid driver’s license required Experience: Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
