• Weekly Hours: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Schedule: Day and night rotations, 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: As needed
• Orientation: 20 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Strong telemetry skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Experience with IV insulin protocols, central line care, and blood product administration
• Ability to float to similar units as needed
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a busy Med/Surg telemetry environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage complex therapies, including insulin drips and oxygen support
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document care accurately in Epic
• Communicate patient updates clearly with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated care
• Provide care for patients with general internal medicine, geriatrics, and special pathogens diagnoses
• Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning
• Float to similar inpatient units when needed and remain flexible in a dynamic clinical setting
