President, AG Dental

Job Description

Alpen Group is hiring a President to lead AG Dental, our dental services platform in Northern Colorado and Southeast Wyoming.

\n This is not a corporate staff job and it is not a regional manager seat. You will run the platform — the P&L, the team, the growth plan, and the acquisitions — and you will own a meaningful piece of what you build. You report directly to the Alpen Group partners and the Board.

\n You are an Alpen Group executive. The platform is yours to run.

\n WORKING WITH ALPEN

\n Most operators who take a private equity-backed role end up executing someone else's thesis on someone else's timeline. That is not how we work.

\n You bring us the annual budget and the plan. If you can defend it, we fund it. We handle corporate development — sourcing, negotiating, and structuring acquisitions — so you can stay focused on operations. You decide whether we can run what we find, and you own it from the day after close.

\n We are operators ourselves. Our partners have built and led multi-site healthcare platforms, not just invested in them. That means two things: we will understand what you are dealing with, and we will not confuse a board meeting with running a business.

\n You will also have a clear path to the CEO title as the platform scales.

\n WHAT YOU OWN

\n - The P&L, consolidated and by location
\n - Operations across all locations — staffing, scheduling, productivity, patient experience, and the metrics that drive them
\n - The team. All non-clinical hiring, performance management, and compensation design. You are the decision maker; you partner with our Chief Dental Officer on clinical matters.
\n - Acquisitions. Alpen sources and negotiates; you lead operational diligence and own integration.
\n - De novo development. We have a site in planning with a doctor and practice manager already identified.
\n - Growth. Referral development, service line expansion, and the membership program.

\n THE PLATFORM

\n AG Dental is built on a conviction: patients increasingly want comprehensive dentistry under one roof — general, specialty, and surgical care delivered by a team that knows them, rather than a referral chain they have to navigate themselves.

\n We have built a multi-specialty practice around that idea. We have a de novo office in development in Fort Collins and a pipeline of acquisitions at various stages. The opportunity is to build the group that makes comprehensive care the standard across Northern Colorado and Southeast Wyoming.

\n WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

\n You have run multiple dental or specialty healthcare locations and you did it hands-on. You own numbers rather than report on them. You have integrated an acquisition and know what actually breaks.

\n Or you are a searcher or independent sponsor who would rather run a platform now, with capital behind you, than spend another two years looking for something to buy.

\n Either way, you are the kind of operator who would rather own a piece of something you build than collect a larger salary running someone else's playbook.

\n REQUIRED

\n - Multi-site operating experience in dental or specialty healthcare — DSO regional operations, group practice leadership, or as a founder-operator
\n - Direct P&L ownership
\n - Fluency in practice operating metrics: provider productivity, case acceptance, collections, overhead by category
\n - Located in or willing to relocate to Northern Colorado, with regular travel to Cheyenne

\n PREFERRED

\n - Implant, prosthodontic, or full-arch specialty experience
\n - Fee-for-service and membership-model economics
\n - Acquisition integration and de novo development
\n - Open Dental familiarity

\n COMPENSATION

\n Compensation is market competitive, set on experience, and open to discussion for the right operator. The package includes base salary, performance bonus upside, and meaningful equity ownership in AG Dental Holdings LLC. Base salary range is $150,000 – $200,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k), and paid time off.
