Summary The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics in support of AllClear Aerospace & Defense's Engineered Products manufacturing operations. This role ensures material availability, supplier reliability, inventory accuracy, and cost-effective supply chain execution to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments. Working closely with Operations, Production Planning, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Finance, the Supply Chain Manager will lead initiatives to mitigate supply chain risks, optimize inventory and working capital, and drive operational improvements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader who can develop a high-performing team, strengthen supplier partnerships, and balance strategic supply chain objectives with daily operational demands. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchasing activities to meet production, cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Manage supplier relationships and performance, addressing delivery, quality, and capacity challenges through corrective actions and recovery plans. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, long lead times, and single-source dependencies. Partner with Production Planning, Engineering, and Quality to align material availability, supplier capabilities, and production requirements. Inventory & Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and material handling to ensure efficient material flow and production support. Maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and transaction integrity through effective controls, cycle counts, and reconciliations. Manage excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory while improving inventory turns and working capital efficiency. Establish standardized processes that strengthen inventory visibility, warehouse efficiency, and operational accountability. Operational & Financial Performance Monitor material availability, supplier commitments, and supply chain constraints, proactively addressing risks to production schedules and customer deliveries. Drive cost reduction initiatives and manage key performance indicators, including purchase price variance, inventory carrying costs, and supplier delivery performance. Support estimating and quoting through supplier pricing, sourcing feasibility, and procurement lead-time analysis. Lead process improvements, ERP enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and reporting. Compliance & Team Leadership Ensure compliance with AS9100, applicable FAR/DFARS, ITAR, customer requirements, and purchasing documentation standards. Maintain supplier qualification, material traceability, and required procurement and quality records. Lead and develop procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics teams, establishing clear expectations and accountability. Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-focused execution. Education, Experience & Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications represent the education, experience, knowledge, and skills required. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, or strategic sourcing within a complex manufacturing environment. At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing procurement, inventory, or related supply chain functions. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, including material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and transaction controls. Working knowledge of aerospace and defense requirements, including applicable AS9100, FAR/DFARS, ITAR, material traceability, and supplier quality standards. Ability to interpret technical specifications, purchasing requirements, and contractual terms, with an understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain cost drivers. Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across organizational levels. Preferred Qualifications Experience in engineer-to-order, OEM, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environments. Experience supporting aerospace and defense OEMs or prime contractors. Familiarity with precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, and aerospace materials. Experience with Lockheed EMAPS and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) systems and requirements.
