Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Remote Pharmacist – Contract to Hire

A fully remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a combination of mail order and retail pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making independent clinical decisions, verifying prescriptions, and providing high-quality medication counseling to patients by phone.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• Fully remote

Primary Responsibilities:

• Verify new and refill prescriptions for clinical accuracy and appropriateness.
• Review medication orders for dosing, interactions, contraindications, and potential safety concerns.
• Provide patients with thorough counseling regarding medications, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper use.
• Respond to patient questions and provide clear, professional medication education.
• Work with prescribers and healthcare professionals to resolve prescription issues when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Idaho Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
