As an Assembly Technician on our growing team, you are contributing to the success of the company by safely and efficiently troubleshooting and installing mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers. Assembly Technician I Duties/Responsibilities: Drill holes in steel frames Bolt on parts Run/Feed electrical wiring and hoses Zip tie wires Take accurate measurements Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read service and repair manuals. Ability to read blueprints or schematics. Ability to learn and work in a team environment. Ability to read a tape measure and calculate differences in measurements. Ability to Weld in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) is preferred. Education and Experience High School diploma or GED or Equivalent experience. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a mechanical field with hydraulic system repairs including pump valves, cylinders, etc. Must be comfortable with electrical trouble shooting. Must have wrenching experience. Must be comfortable using power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinder, air tools etc. Must be eager to learn, have a good work ethic, and be able to accept responsibility for work performed. Leadership skills desired. Physical Requirements Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Additional Job Information: Wage Expectations: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays Location: On Site – 20812 Broadway Ave; Snohomish, WA 98296 Travel: Very minimal to none Benefits: Employees are eligible on the 1stof the month following the completion of 30 days of employment for: Medical Dental Vision Company Paid Life Insurance Policy for each full-time employee in the amount of $20,000.00.
