What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and devising tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic ailments independently or in sync with physicians (depending on credentialing)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within your professional scope
• Participating in ongoing patient follow-up and managing chronic cases

• Documenting patient information meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or readiness to obtain within 90 days)
