Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only full-service children’s specialty hospital and the state’s only maternity, newborn, and pediatric specialty hospital. The Wilcox Unit at Kapi‘olani is a pediatric unit dedicated to providing family centered, comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for children with cancer and blood disorders and general pediatric medical/surgical care of adolescents and other aged pediatric patients. Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group, which enables our children to receive the most current treatment by participating in the National Cancer Center Institute’s approved clinical trials.

As a Clinical Assistant, you will join the team of accomplished clinical professionals providing exceptional health care services at Kapi‘olani. In this role, you will help to perform a variety of nursing and health care procedures, as well as certain clerical services. We are looking for an attentive and dedicated individual, with a fine-tuned sense of responsibility, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of clinical experience OR a successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program. Current Hawaii CNA certificate. One (1) year clerical experience in a healthcare setting.
