Accounting ManagerCooperDouglas is partnering with a high growth manufacturing company to hire an Accounting Manager in El Segundo, CA. This is a hands on role within a fast paced environment, ideal for someone coming out of BIG 4 who wants to step into a leadership position and own the close within a manufacturing setting.What you will do:Own and manage the month end and year end close processReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsOversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and manufacturing related accounting activitiesEnsure accuracy around standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory controlsPartner closely with operations and supply chain to support reporting and drive improvementsSupport audits and work closely with external auditorsIdentify process improvements and help build scalable accounting processesSupervise and develop junior accounting staffWhat we are looking for:Big 4 CPA requiredExperience in a manufacturing or product based environmentStrong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and standard costingHands on experience owning or heavily contributing to the close processStrong technical accounting foundation and attention to detailAbility to operate in a fast paced, growing environmentThis position is on site in El Segundo, CA.
