Dean’s Office Assistant

Executive Summary The Assistant provides administrative and analytical support to the Dean of Students and the Student Activities Director. This is a full-time, 11-month position. Date Posted: 6/23/2026 Responsibilities Assist students with a wide variety of questions/issues brought to the Dean's office and respond to parent phone/email inquiries regarding attendance, student conduct, detentions, uniforms, lockers, parking, etc. Maintain the attendance, discipline and activities tabs of the Student Information Management system (Rediker) including entering data, running reports, and flagging issues that need attention. Research attendance issues, run daily and period attendance reports on a weekly basis, and email parents with attendance updates. Update/coordinate printing of the Student Planner and Parent-Student Handbooks annually including coordinating the collection/review of policy changes by the Administrative Team. Assist/coordinate with annual projects including freshman orientation, back to school meetings, parking registration, focus groups, etc. Assist/coordinate activities for the Activities Director including prom/event registration, activities fair, awards assembly, club rosters, merchandise orders, posters/bulletin boards, etc. Attend various evening/weekend events including freshman registration, open house, back to school meetings, etc. Back-up for the front desk receptionist for breaks and daily attendance and support for the school nurse. Qualifications Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of all student personal information discussed in the Dean's office. Experience using Rediker or other information systems to enter/retrieve data and run basic reports. Proficient with Microsoft and Google suite including docs and sheets. Experience with Microsoft Publisher preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including tact in communicating sensitive information with parents and/or faculty/staff. Ability to work independently and multi-task. Flexibility and willingness to work as a team to assist with priority projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nazareth Academy
