Growth and Marketing Lead

Compensation: $100,000–$200,000 + 0.1%–1.0% equity
A seed-stage AI infrastructure startup building the testing, evaluation, and observability layer for voice and text AI agents, helping companies ensure their agents perform as intended in production. The company already serves large enterprise and high-growth startup customers processing millions of interactions monthly, and hit meaningful revenue traction within its first year.

The RoleWe're hiring our first Growth and Marketing Lead to own brand, narrative, SEO/GEO strategy, and the full creative and inbound marketing engine from scratch — working closely with the founding GTM team and reporting to the CEO. This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role blending guerrilla creativity with data-driven growth programs.
What you'll be doing
- Own the brand narrative and positioning across all channels, sharpening how the company communicates to technical buyers
- Ship a steady stream of content AI engineers and founders want to read — technical posts, launch announcements, case studies, product teardowns
- Drive discoverability through SEO, GEO, and AI-native distribution, owning strategy and execution end to end
- Design and run creative and guerrilla marketing campaigns that generate mindshare in the voice AI and conversational AI space
- Build the inbound pipeline engine and run experiments across social, email, paid, and community channels — test, measure, refine
- Own product marketing and launches end to end, building competitive positioning and messaging, decks, and assets
- Build community and ecosystem presence through events, dinners, and co-marketing motions alongside the founders
Tech stack: Marketing/growth stack (SEO, GEO, PLG analytics, content, paid, community).
Requirements- 3+ years marketing or growth experience, startup background required
- SEO and GEO experience required
- Creative and data-driven marketing, portfolio required
- PLG-savvy, growth metrics fluency
- SF in-person, 5 days per week
- Technical audience storytelling, AI or developer tools a plus
- AI-native in daily workflows
- Experience selling to technical buyers
- Scrappy, early-stage startup experience
- Name-brand background as signal
- Not AI-native in workflows
- First marketing hire at a category-defining AI infrastructure company — own the brand and growth engine end to end
- Real traction to sell: strong early revenue, marquee enterprise customers, top-tier backing
- Full creative mandate and autonomy, working directly with the CEO and founding team
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Work policy: On-site, 5 days per week (9am–7pm)
