Senior Controls Engineer
Our client is a full-service automation integrator providing industrial control solutions for small to large clients in a wide range of industries. They offer a full range of project services including conceptual design, detailed engineering, project management, software development, control panel design and fabrication, installation supervision, training, and startup services.
As a strategic member of a highly collaborative organization, the Senior Controls Engineer will provide complete automated solutions specializing in SCADA, PLC and custom-built panels.
Senior Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop solution-based control systems and present the solution to customers.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays and unexpected costs.
- Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team.
- Interpret customer requirements, address design and engineering parameters, and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.
- Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery and quality of projects.
- 25% regional travel
Senior Controls Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience designing and programming process control systems.
- Deep understanding of automation.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
- SCADA experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Aveva (Wonderware), or VTScada.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical systems and their application in automated industrial design.
- Proactive, highly motivated, self-starter, resourceful.
- Ability to multitask.
- Professional Registration, Microsoft certifications or other industry recognized certifications are a plus.

Our client will consider a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and other factors when extending an offer.
