Manufacturing Manager

Site Manufacturing LeaderThe Site Manufacturing Leader will lead and oversee all functions across a financially sound site. This includes goals, objectives, tactical and strategic operational plans. This role is highly visible and will have the autonomy to promote positive changes, as well as innovate while driving operational change. Grow into increasing levels of responsibility and be considered a strong successor candidate within the functional organization.Ideal ExperienceExperience successfully leading all functional areas across a site, including Safety, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and ShippingExperience driving a best-in-class safe manufacturing environment, through the creation and implementation of effective plant safety programs.Expertise in spearheading the implementation and execution of continuous improvement operational processes while communicating clearly defined objectives and gaining acceptance of those objectives.Expertise in the implementation, training, execution, and compliance of lean manufacturing practices.Experience reviewing, implementing, and analyzing operating results in relation to costs.Experience leading an organization that is actively engaged in growth mode.General RequirementsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related fields.A minimum of 10 years' of progressive leadership experience, experience to include plastics manufacturing (i.e. extrusion, injection molding, compounding, etc.) processesProven experience leading capx projects, leading change and driving plant efficiencies for a multi-shift workforce while building high-performance teamsDemonstrated experience effectively managing front line managers to achieve high performance and employee engagement.Technical skills in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniquesEffective communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsThe compensation package includes a competitive base salary, incentive-based programs.
