About the Role
As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating Scheduling : Booking appointments and scheduling surgeries, tests, and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
Patient Communication : Contacting patients to review and confirm appointments, answer questions, and address concerns.
Data Entry : Accurately entering patient information and scheduling data into our electronic medical records system.
Team Collaboration : Working closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Problem-Solving : Resolving scheduling conflicts, addressing patient concerns, and finding creative solutions to unexpected issues.
Requirements
0-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills , with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other software applications.
