Sales & Marketing Manager

Saltwater Marketing helps charter captains, fishing guides, and coastal tour operators book their calendars full. We offer services like Google Ads marketing, website development, SEO, AI, and other strategies all tailored to their needs. That’s because we're not a generic marketing agency — this is the only thing we do. Captains hire us because we understand their business AND we get them results. Our track record, client retention and testimonials all reflect this. We're looking for someone who enjoys sales and relationship development to take over this role from our founder. We have an active marketing system in place and lots of opportunities for the right person. What you'll do: Talk to captains and operators who've already shown interest — answer their questions, walk them through what we do in a low-pressure environment. Work our list of past leads — check in, follow up, stay in touch, don't let people who were interested just disappear Work leads we’ve obtained from trade shows Develop lists of potential new clients and perform outreach to start developing relationships Check in with current clients, spot who's ready to grow into a bigger plan, and have that conversation Help us execute our digital marketing plans specific to sales and marketing Who we're looking for: Someone who genuinely loves the water — fishing, boating, or just being around the dock Experience in the industry is a real plus — a deckhand, first mate, dock hand, or anyone who's worked around charter or tour operations. You need to have an understanding of the good, the bad and the ugly in our industry. Comfortable on the phone, good at building rapport, doesn't need to be pushed to follow up Self-motivated — we'll train and support you, but you're not waiting to be told what to do every day Support you'll get: Full training on our system, our clients, and how we talk to captains 1000+ leads plus new ones coming in daily AI tools built specifically for your work An active marketing plan already generating leads and interest — you're not starting from zero An environment where we care greatly about customer results and retention Pay: $30k Base salary + commission on every new client and every upgrade, paid out monthly for at least a year after the sale so your income builds.
