Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting the Sales team and day‑to‑day tasks. EōS Fitness is looking for individuals passionate about sales and dedicated to helping members achieve their health and wellness goals. As Assistant General Manager, you will create connections with prospective members, facilitate their membership journey, and ensure their success. These responsibilities encompass a broad spectrum and the duties may evolve under management discretion. Position Purpose Lead, coach, and train the Sales team to create a fun atmosphere, be great hosts, and be the hub for information for our members, guests, and staff. Responsibilities Ensure sales targets are met, especially during weekends or when the General Manager is absent, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives. Focus on selling club memberships, individual memberships, fitness services, products, and programs to meet or exceed sales goals. Oversee the billing processes for memberships, monitor the sales process, and ensure timely follow‑up with leads and prospects. Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols. Provide high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns or complaints, managing membership inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage with members in a friendly approach, actively listening to their needs and concerns, and providing clear and helpful responses. In the event of emergencies or unexpected disruptions, communicate calmly to staff and members, giving necessary instructions and updates to ensure safety. Qualifications 2 years of customer service experience. 3‑4 years of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills at all organizational levels. Strong attention to detail, systematic problem solving, and good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills. Excellent MS Office skills. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry is a plus. Embraces the company’s Core Values. Requirements Must pass a background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting, moving about club floors and rooms, and communicating with employees, members, and the public. Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs. Ability to access and operate the computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports. Eligible for Additional Compensation Variable income opportunities including commission and bonus. Post‑training increase.
