Work Environment

Located in the beautiful coastal community of Oceanside, our rehabilitation facility features modern treatment spaces designed to facilitate recovery in a welcoming atmosphere. As a PT in our team, you will work in a supportive environment dedicated to quality patient care, where collaboration and teamwork are paramount. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic specialists and occupational therapists, to provide cohesive and thorough patient care.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques in a well-equipped facility.
• Educate patients on their conditions, offering guidance on injury prevention strategies and effective at-home exercises to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment protocols, and outcomes using our efficient electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary case conferences and clinical rounds to collaboratively discuss cases and treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults working to regain strength and mobility post-surgery. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation process, ensuring that each individual's unique needs are met and that their returns to optimal function are achieved.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of California or be eligible for licensure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and manual therapy skills are essential for success in this role.
• Adept at working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; however, motivated new graduates will be considered.
• Certifications in areas such as dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation are advantageous.
• Interest in mentorship or providing clinical education to junior staff or interns is a plus.
