Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Transactions Associate to join a dynamic, full-service law firm with a nationally recognized real estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial real estate matters in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
The Opportunity The firm is looking for an associate with 2-5 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will participate in all stages of deals-from inception through closing-across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development projects, and financings.

The Opportunity The firm is looking for an associate with 2-5 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will participate in all stages of deals-from inception through closing-across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development projects, and financings.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex real estate transactions under partner supervision
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture documents, and financing instruments
- Coordinate due diligence across title, survey, zoning, environmental, and corporate matters
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- 2-5 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Florida
- Primary: West Palm Beach
- Alternate offices: Miami or Fort Lauderdale
