Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15)

Assignment Details

13-20 week contracts accepted, 36 or 48 hours per week. No call requirement. Floating to the main facility may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Traveler experience accepted; first-time travelers welcome.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Skills in Med/Surg, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, bowel obstruction care, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, hemodialysis management, renal failure treatment, blood product administration, line management (central and peripheral), phlebotomy, and wound care.
• Experience with various patient diagnoses such as diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings for cardiac patients.
• Assist in the management of central and peripheral IV lines, blood draws, and wound care.
• Coordinate activities with Rapid Response and Code teams as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease management.

Compliance / Notes

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty. Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events.
