Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with every other or every third weekend required.

Assignment Details

36 hours of orientation; float required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ER experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred.
• Must be comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma, psych holds, and pediatric emergency care.
• Ohio RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in emergency situations, including assessment and treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in clinical status.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
