We are looking for a Safety Specialist (EHS Specialist) to support daily field operations and help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive work environment across our construction and project sites. This position works closely with project managers, supervisors, and field personnel to identify risks, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and ensure company safety standards are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and document findings

• Monitor compliance with OSHA, company policies, and site-specific safety requirements

• Lead safety orientations for new employees and subcontractors

• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries, and prepare detailed reports

• Assist management with corrective action plans and safety improvements

• Maintain safety records, training documentation, and compliance reports

• Coordinate and schedule employee safety training programs

• Perform hazard assessments and recommend preventative measures

• Participate in project planning meetings to identify potential safety concerns before work begins

• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, transportation, or environmental health and safety preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices

• Ability to conduct inspections and prepare professional reports

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems

• OSHA certifications are considered an asset but are not required

Compensation:

• Annual salary: $72,000 – $96,000 depending on experience and qualifications
