Nurse Practitioner Rheumatology Must-Have Requirements

• Master s Degree in Nursing (required)
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma (required)
• Current RN license in good standing with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
• Current Prescriptive Authority
• Minimum 3 years Nurse Practitioner experience
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain

Nurse Practitioner Rheumatology Position Summary

Nurse Practitioner Rheumatology Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care and follow-up management
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment options
• Counsel patients on medications, prognosis, and care planning
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Nurse Practitioner Rheumatology Additional Qualifications

• Rheumatology experience preferred
• IV therapy experience preferred
• DEA license preferred
• OBNDD registration preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
