Job Description

An established manufacturing company is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support production and facility equipment. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and automated equipment. You will work with motor controls, process controls, computer-controlled systems, production machinery, and plant electrical equipment while supporting preventive maintenance and safe work practices.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and test mechanical, electrical, electronic, automated, and plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, building equipment, and related components
• Diagnose electrical and control issues using hand tools, power tools, meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment
• Assist maintenance leadership with equipment installation and repair procedures and maintaining appropriate inventories of critical components
• Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and assigned environmental, health, and safety responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform low- to high-voltage electrical work, wire complex circuits, troubleshoot faulty logic and control circuits, and perform equipment installations, repairs, and testing
• Ability to perform mechanical maintenance as well as general plumbing, carpentry, and floor/tile installation and repair
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools, volt/ohm/amp meters, oscilloscopes, and related electrical diagnostic equipment
• Must meet at least one of the following experience/education pathways: associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, or Mechanical Technology; a minimum of two years of military service with training in one of these technical fields; or a minimum of three years of on-the-job training in industrial electrical, electronic, or mechanical maintenance
• Willingness to participate in a pay-for-skill program
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk throughout the workday and frequently perform job-related lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and bending

The base pay range for this position is $30-$32, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
