Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role, offering flexibility while maintaining connectivity with school administrators, teachers, and parents. While the primary work setting is virtual, the candidate may be required to occasionally visit local schools or community centers to deliver on-site support. Typically, work hours will be scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for occasional evening or weekend engagements based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students, considering their emotional, social, and academic barriers.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff to ensure holistic support.

• Provide ongoing counseling to students, helping them navigate life’s challenges such as anxiety, depression, and family issues.

• Advocate for students’ rights and access to necessary resources, ensuring they have support available to them.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and administration to create a supportive educational environment for all students.

• Organize and facilitate support groups, workshops, and informational sessions for students and their families.

• Monitor clients’ progress and make adjustments to their support plans as necessary, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs.

• Document all interactions, assessments, and care plans in electronic health record (EHR) systems, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards.

• Continuously stay updated on best practices in social work and current legislation affecting student welfare.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents navigating various social, emotional, and academic challenges. The social worker will engage with students facing mental health issues, learning disabilities, family difficulties, and other factors impacting their educational experience. By fostering a trusting relationship, the social worker will guide students towards personal and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary for this full-time position ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
