Ancillary Director – Paragon Prep
Paragon Prep has delivered a rigorous and nurturing environment to students PK–8th grade since 1997. Graduates are ready for the honors program of any high school and participate in athletics, academic competitions, robotics, and community service projects. Paragon delivers a first-rate education in a small setting for students who are excited about learning. Beyond mastering the most challenging curriculum in the area and the opportunity to earn up to five high school credits, students at Paragon Prep have the chance to excel in competitive sports and explore a wide array of electives, enriching their educational journey.

About the Role
As the Ancillary Director at Paragon Prep, you will oversee the school’s non-academic programs and experiences, including before- and after-school programming, summer camp, field trips, school events, safety initiatives, vendor partnerships, and the student Colleges program.
You will collaborate with school leadership, teachers, families, and external partners to create engaging programs and ensure their successful execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, technologically proficient, and capable of managing multiple initiatives from planning through completion.
You Will Also:
- Develop and manage before- and after-school clubs, classes, enrichment activities, and care programs.
- Coordinate program schedules, student registration, rosters, staffing, materials, family communications, and promotional efforts.
- Identify and manage program vendors, including contracts through Agiloft, invoices, payments, and supporting materials.
- Oversee daily program environments to ensure they are safe, organized, engaging, and appropriately staffed.
- Partner with teachers and school leadership to plan field trips and on-campus experiences.
- Coordinate field-trip vendors, reservations, payments, calendars, family communications, and chaperone opportunities.
- Serve as the primary coordinator and point of contact for field trips while ensuring effective student supervision.
- Plan and execute school events such as open houses, parent gatherings, school dances, picture days, screenings, community celebrations, and occasional evening or weekend activities.
- Maintain the annual safety-drill calendar and ensure emergency procedures, classroom rosters, emergency clipboards, and ALICE supplies remain current.
- Serve as Commissioner for the school-wide Colleges program, coordinating student groups, activities, and competitions.
- Partner with View email address on apply.j-vers.com to plan and operate Paragon Prep’s 10-week summer camp program.
- Develop summer camp schedules, programming, staffing plans, marketing materials, vendor partnerships, and family communications.
- Manage the ACTIVE registration portal, including enrollment information and requested registration changes.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise summer camp counselors and counselors-in-training.
- Procure program supplies and oversee the daily operation of summer camp to ensure a safe and positive experience.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with students, families, staff, vendors, and school leadership.
- Maintain accurate program, registration, vendor, financial, and safety records.
- Remain flexible and responsive as school schedules, priorities, and program needs evolve.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in education, recreation, business administration, program management, or a related field required.
- Previous leadership or teaching experience in a school, camp, enrichment, or youth-programming environment required.
- Experience with school operations, enrichment programs, summer camps, student activities, or event coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational, project-management, and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to move projects efficiently from planning through completion.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with registration platforms, scheduling tools, spreadsheets, email, and other program-management technology.
- Experience with Agiloft, ACTIVE, or comparable contracting and registration systems preferred.
- Knowledge of student programming, supervision, safety procedures, and enrichment best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, school leaders, and external partners.
- Proactive, flexible, dependable, resourceful, and committed to professional growth.
- Availability to support occasional evening and weekend events.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in person at the school campus.
