Jackson Lewis P.C. has been dedicated to employment and labor law since 1958, and our Baltimore Office seeks an Of Counsel Attorney to join the Litigation group.Position Overview The Of Counsel will advise and defend employers in workplace matters, including investigations, administrative charges, state and federal lawsuits, and a broad range of employment defense issues.Responsibilities Demonstrate the ability to independently produce high‑quality work.Defend agency discrimination charges, litigation involving employment‑related claims, and provide advice and counsel on similar issues.Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration across a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination, contract, employment tort, and non‑compete cases.Collaborate within the team, particularly on larger cases.Lead, supervise, and develop associate attorneys.Qualifications JD from an accredited law school.8+ years of experience preferred; employment law experience a plus.MD Bar admission preferred.Excellent attention to detail, especially with document‑intensive cases.Strong organizational and case‑management skills, managing numerous cases concurrently.Ability to work collaboratively and utilize other professionals effectively.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.Salary and Incentives For Maryland, the expected salary range is $225,000 – $255,000, and the position may be eligible for annual bonuses.Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance401(k) retirement planFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountFirm‑paid holidays, vacation, and sick timeEmployee assistance program and other firm benefitsEqual Employment Opportunity We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
