As a Security Officer - Patrol Watch in Goodyear, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a smooth daily operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating with professionalism while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor the location for incoming and outgoing traffic, observe employee and visitor activity, and assist with following site rules related to restricted areas, deliveries, and/or after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
