Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations with evidence-based assessments and observational methodologies.
• Craft bespoke treatment plans targeting immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with a focus on communication, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members, to ensure cohesive care approaches.
• Provide education and resources for patients and families that empower progress outside of the therapy environment.
• Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, contributing to seamless care throughout the patient's journey.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation as per state, federal, and organizational directives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of innovations within the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
