This position provides a beautiful blend of opportunities, allowing you to engage with various patient populations through outpatient services while also supporting inpatient requirements on occasion. Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics employing established assessment tools and clinical observations.

Create tailored treatment regimens that cater to both immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing areas like language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Work in harmonious collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing personnel, physicians, guardians, and families to formulate cohesive care approaches.

Provide informative sessions for patients and their families to encourage continued improvement beyond clinical interactions.

Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless treatment experience.

Keep meticulous records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Continuously broaden your knowledge in the field through professional development and peer interactions.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment for all age groups with an understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues.

Capacity to customize therapy strategies to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Solid clinical judgment paired with effective problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols.
