Description

• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions targeting fluency, language skills, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and therapists, to create integrated care strategies.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and families to enhance progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Engage in inpatient therapy when needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's recovery journey.
• Keep meticulous and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay informed about developments in speech language pathology through ongoing education and peer interactions.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
