Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and initial screenings to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, establishing a clear understanding of their needs.

• Create and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to address the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, drawing on evidence-based methodologies to guide treatments.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support clients grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your expertise will help individuals from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

While the minimum requirement is an active LMFT license and a Master’s degree, candidates with 2+ years of direct clinical experience working with individuals suffering from mood disorders, especially in outpatient settings, are highly desirable. Familiarity with integrating treatment models that address trauma and substance use disorders may also be advantageous.
