Provide support that allows for efficient and effective use of staff members’ time.* Assist with portfolio management and strategy execution for assigned fundraisers.* Assist with goal setting, proposal preparation, strategy development, and stewardship as required for donors.* Assist with maintaining appropriate electronic documentation on a timely basis, including engagement activities, proposal tracking, contact reports, donor strategies, and forecasting.* Assist with recording timely reports, letters, proposals, or gift agreements following a donor contact. Assist with prospect and donor research, individualized donor stewardship projects, and various forms of donor outreach as needed.* Plan and execute various events, such as workshops, webinars, and campus visits.* Serve as a resource of information for assigned gift officers.* Coordinate internal and external meetings, plan travel, and process reimbursements in a timely manner. Work collaboratively, proactively, and in a professional, service-oriented manner with all university development staff to further the development goals of the university.* Additional duties as assigned.## Salary$50,000## Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree.* A combination of one year of experience assisting with fundraising programs or performing complex administrative functions.* Highly effective communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal). Project management skills. Capable of working independently and under pressure, while also engaging in collaboration between teams.* Excellence in problem-analyzing, problem-solving, and customer service.* Demonstrated high attention to details and accountability.* Ability to use discretion and maintain integrity and professionalism.* High degree of proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.* Demonstrated excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.*Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.*## Preferred Qualifications* More than five years of administrative assistance experience.* Experience with VIP database and \*DEFINE.* Working knowledge of UT Austin's policies and procedures.## Working Conditions* Works in standard office conditions, in a shared office environment, with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.* Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on-site work is the standard expectation for this position.* May require additional hours during peak periods and special events.* Regular and consistent attendance is required in this job.* Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
