Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Cyclist Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while supporting daily operations.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and communicate with supervisors, employees, and/or local responders regarding security-related concerns or operational issues.
- Support order at the location by following Allied Universal standards, reporting hazards or maintenance issues, and assisting with crowd, traffic, and/or delivery activity as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Able to ride a bike.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
