Hematology/Oncology Physician

Cynet locums

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Call: Shared 1:5 rotation, 5:00 PM 7:00 AM , with APP support Practice Details:

Mix of outpatient clinic, infusion center, and inpatient consults
Cancer center attached to the hospital
90%+ Hematology , less than 10% Solid Tumor Oncology
Treat both benign and malignant hematology patients
No Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) or other advanced academic treatments
EMR: Epic

Patient Volume:

Clinic: 15 patients/day
Hospital: patients/day
Adult & Geriatric patients

Team:

6 Physicians
5 Inpatient APPs (covering 2 hospitals)
6 Outpatient APPs
Radiation Oncologists available

Responsibilities :

Outpatient & inpatient hematology care
Occasional solid tumor coverage when needed
Perform FNA/Biopsies
Participate in Tumor Board
Order tests, imaging, and prescribe medications

Requirements :

Board Certified Required
BLS Required
Michigan License Strongly preferred (will consider candidates willing to obtain one)
