Job Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in neonatology required
• Active Physician Assistant certification or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working in a NICU or neonatal intensive care setting
• Ability to perform key neonatal procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Comfort working rotating day and night shifts
• DEA registration preferred/required as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support for newborns in a Level III NICU
• Perform neonatal procedures including intubation , umbilical line placement , and thoracentesis
• Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and the broader neonatal care team
• Evaluate and manage a daily patient load in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Deliver safe, high-quality care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment
• Support continuity of care across rotating shifts
