The role requires teaching, modeling, and upholding Raising Cane’s culture standards for all crew, customers, and partners. It involves a fast‑paced kitchen environment with extended periods of physical exertion, customer interaction, and work in varied temperatures and conditions. Key Responsibilities Ensure overall financial success of the restaurant and forecast and budget appropriately. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and laws. Hire, terminate, and manage management‑level crew members, including payroll and status changes. Create crew work and training schedules. Develop and manage performance of management‑level crew. Act as manager on duty, open and close the restaurant, and manage cash handling. Monitor profit and loss statements, developing and executing strategies to improve financial and operational performance. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards and use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution. Deploy crew members during a shift and provide exemplary customer service. Utilize reward and recognition programs for crew members. Authorize managerial approvals such as discounts and time‑clock overrides. Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and maintain facility operations. Maintain training restaurant status and meet or exceed all crew and operations metrics. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple changing priorities. Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Recognize problems, set goals, create plans, and turn plans into action to solve problems. Measure performance subjectively and objectively with high emotional intelligence. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems. Versatile shift availability including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Professional public dealings and brand ambassadorship within and outside the restaurant. 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. New restaurant opening and local marketing experience preferred. Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Valid driver’s license.
