Location: Bay City, MI (1900 Columbus Avenue)

Start Date: 03/01/2026

End Date: Multiple ongoing coverage periods through 12/28/2026, with potential extension into 2027

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-7am (24 hrs), Friday 7am-7pm (12 hrs)

Hours/Week: 40+ hours, depending on schedule

Employment Type: Locum

Certifications: Valid medical license in Michigan, ERCP certification required

Experience: Prior GI experience preferred, including proficiency in ERCP

What You'll Do

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for GI services, with scheduled weekdays and no weekend call
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including ERCP
• Collaborate with hospitalists and colorectal surgeons to ensure patient care continuity
• Manage patient consultations and follow-up within the hospital and GI clinic
• Support hospital initiatives and participate in on-call emergencies
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Work in a small-town environment with access to waterfront and city amenities

What You Need

• Valid Michigan medical license, DEA, BC in Gastroenterology or eligible for licensing
• ERCP certification required
• Minimum of 2+ years GI practice experience preferred
• Strong procedural and diagnostic skills in GI medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
