Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Production Supervisor As Production Supervisor, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations for the packing, warehouse, and loading department, ensuring direct reports follow safety and food/feed safety policies. Key tasks include: Manage daily department operations and enforce safety and quality policies. Partner with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory teams. Monitor production outcomes, quantity and quality to meet customer and food safety requirements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Centerlining, Preventative Maintenance, Pristine, 5S and ELEMEDS. Develop forecasting for future production workforce needs and participate in employee selection. Handle inventory discrepancies, produce corrective actions. Provide workforce engagement, recognition, coaching and development for hourly members. Essential skills and experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent high‑school diploma/GED with 4 years of production experience. At least 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial environment (milling, agricultural, food production). Understanding of safety hazards, protocols and computerized maintenance management systems. Knowledge of packaging equipment and conveying system maintenance. Training in LEAN, Six Sigma, or other manufacturing optimization processes. Reliability‑centered maintenance training for packaging equipment best practices. Physical and work‑condition requirements: Ability to use a computer for administrative tasks and wear personal protective equipment. Work rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays. Operate a 24‑hour, machine‑paced continuous process with hot/cold temperatures, dust, noise, vibration, elevated positions, confined spaces. Stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform tasks in confined or elevated places. Read, interpret instructions and communicate effectively in English. Location: Commerce City, CO (4545 #J-18808-Ljbffr
