AI Business Analyst

Payrate: $50.00 - $50.00/hr. Summary: The main function of this role is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Responsibilities include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. This role usually reports to a project manager or director.

Responsibilities

• Automate data extraction using AI-driven tools to provide actionable data for strategic decision-making.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows to integrate current data sources with ETL streams.
• Develop and distribute content through AI-enhanced platforms to optimize reach and engagement.
• Generate AI-enabled insights using data from a variety of sources to enhance data-driven decisions.
• Conduct strategy analysis by leveraging AI tools to evaluate market trends and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
• Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
• Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
• Set up project and work breakdown structures.
• Establish and document business processes.
• Track project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
• Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience with a focus on automation and AI-driven workflows.
• Proficiency in AI tools (Either Claude, Gemini, or Cline, Open AI, Co-Pilot, DeepSeek) and platforms for data analysis, reporting, process optimization, and integration.
• Strong understanding of retail operations.
• Ability to analyze data and build key insights.
• Curious mindset with strong verbal communication skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Skills

• Experience in retail operations within the technology or consumer electronics industry.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools for content creation, system integration, and distribution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with KPI reporting and performance analysis using AI analytics.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
• Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
