Aircraft Structures Technician 2nd Shift — DAS Aviation (Job Ref: 947) Full Time, On‑Site, Cedar Hill, TX, USA. Posted 30+ days ago. This role is on the 2nd shift. As a Sheetmetal Technician you will perform sheet metal operations on aircraft structures, including drilling, riveting, cutting, applying sealants, and maintaining shop facilities. Key Responsibilities Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components. Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials. Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling as required. Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools associated with sheet‑metal functions. Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills. Communicate effectively (speak, write, read) in English. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent. Airframe and Powerplant License is not required but welcome. A valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of sheet metal or fabrication processes (forming, drilling, stamping, shaping, bending, punching, cutting, riveting, filing, and dimpling).
• Journeyman: 0–5 years of experience as sheet metal technician.
• Master: 5+ years of experience as a sheet metal technician.

Supervision & Working Conditions Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader. Performed in controlled industrial warehouse environments across multiple departments: teardown/evaluation, nacelle and heavy structural repairs, light structure repair on components.
