We're looking for a Solutions Architect to lead the technical vision and strategic growth of one of our innovation portfolios while helping shape the next generation of space technologies.In this role, you'll work closely with the CTO, Business Development, engineering teams, and executive leadership to define technology roadmaps, identify new opportunities, and transform innovative concepts into funded programs and flight-ready capabilities. You'll bridge technical strategy with business growth, ensuring our portfolio continues to advance the state of the art while supporting NASA, commercial, civil, and national security missions.We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and customer engagement—someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, influencing the future direction of space technology, and helping turn ambitious ideas into reality.This position is open to U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents) only. If you're passionate about solving challenging problems and seeing your work fly in space, you'll fit right in.What You'll Actually DoShape the technology roadmap.Lead technical strategy and solution development.Drive business growth.Be the technical expert.Connect innovation across the company.Who Thrives HereYou have 8–12 years of experience in spacecraft systems, mission architecture, systems engineering, mission design, navigation, or a related aerospace discipline.You have experience developing technology roadmaps, technical strategies, or solution architectures for complex engineering programs.You understand spacecraft mission concepts, systems engineering, mission design, spacecraft subsystem trades, or mission-critical technologies.You have experience leading technical trade studies and translating mission objectives into system requirements and operational concepts (ConOps).You're comfortable engaging with customers, partners, executive leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.You have experience supporting proposals, business development efforts, or strategic technology planning.You communicate complex technical concepts clearly through presentations, technical papers, and customer discussions.You're naturally curious, continuously learning, and passionate about advancing the state of the art.You take ownership.
