Guaranteed hours: 36
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts), 3 days on

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ER patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with multiple disciplines
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent clinical decision-making to implement and adjust care plans
- Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and safe transition of care
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; maintain a safe, healing, and respectful environment
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice) or as required by the assignment
- Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification (required)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN education preferred
