Accounting Analyst

Our client is seeking an accounting analyst to join their growing team. This position is onsite 4days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the processing of accounts payable, payroll, and travel & expense reimbursements, ensuring payments are accurate and made on schedule.
• Perform reconciliations across multiple accounting systems to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation to support financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with third-party administrators regarding investment and investor-related payments, distributions, and related activity.
• Prepare and record journal entries and complete cash reconciliations for corporate entities.
• Track daily cash balances and liquidity needs to support effective cash management.
• Support corporate and SOX audit processes, including preparation for regulatory, tax, and audit requirements related to foreign management company entities.
• Initiate and process wires, transfers, and other banking transactions while maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
• Oversee banking activity related to investment and investor capital calls and distributions, ensuring transactions are properly executed, documented, and compliant with internal controls.
• Manage assigned projects from planning through completion, including timelines, deliverables, and coordination with key stakeholders.
• Support the ongoing accounting and financial administration of multiple private equity management company entities.
• Provide accounting and administrative support to the Director and SVP of Accounting, General Partners, and broader Finance & Accounting team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in treasury operations and corporate accounting, preferably within an environment with strong internal controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and drive initiatives from inception through completion.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience with treasury management platforms and financial automation tools is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Experience preparing, updating, and maintaining financial models, analyses, and forecasts is a plus.

  Compensation & Benefits:

• $80-95K base + bonus

$80,000-$90,000 per year
